Ball Mastery Ball Mastery

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains how the QuickPlay group of companies (“QuickPlay”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you use the Ball Mastery training portal (the “Portal”). The QuickPlay company that is the data controller for your information depends on your region, as set out in section 1.

1. Who we are

The data controller for your personal data is the QuickPlay company responsible for the Portal in your region:

  • United Kingdom & Rest of World — QUICK PLAY SPORT Ltd., registered in England and Wales under company number 06434042, registered office Electric Works, 3 Concourse Way, Sheffield, England, S1 2BJ.
  • European Union / EEA — QUICKPLAY Sport B.V. (trading as QUICKPLAY EU), registered in the Netherlands under KVK number 77604431, registered office Keizersgracht 241, 1016 EA Amsterdam, Netherlands.
  • United States — QUICK PLAY SPORT LLC, registered in Wyoming, registered office 1712 Pioneer Ave. Ste. 500, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82001.

For any privacy question or request, whichever company applies to you, contact us at support@quickplaysport.com.

2. The data we collect

Account details you give us: your email address, username, password (which we store only in encrypted/hashed form), and your region. Optionally, you may add a first name, skill level, and date of birth in your account.

Usage data we generate as you train: which drills you watch and complete, when you watch them, and the streaks and badges calculated from that activity. We also store your device’s timezone so streaks are counted on the correct day.

Technical data: limited information needed to keep you signed in, including a “remember me” token tied to your device and basic browser information.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and run your account and keep you signed in.
  • To track your training progress and award streaks and badges.
  • To send you essential account emails, such as confirming your email address.
  • To send you marketing about new drills, tips, and offers — unless you opt out (see section 6).
  • To keep the Portal secure and to understand and improve how it is used.

4. Our legal bases (UK/EU)

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Portal and your account.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the Portal secure, improve it, and (where permitted) market our own similar products to existing customers.
  • Consent — where required for certain marketing; you can withdraw it at any time.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to run the Portal: a session cookie to keep you signed in during a visit, and a “remember me” cookie if you choose to stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies. Embedded drill videos (e.g. YouTube) may set their own cookies when you play them, governed by that provider’s policy.

6. Marketing and your choices

Because the Portal comes with a product you have purchased from us, we may send you marketing about our own similar products. You can opt out at sign-up, by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us — at any time, free of charge. Opting out won’t affect essential account emails.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Portal, under appropriate agreements, including:

  • our hosting provider, to operate the Portal;
  • Google (Workspace), to deliver our emails; and
  • YouTube/Google, which delivers embedded drill videos.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers (such as Google/YouTube) may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the relevant standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your account and training data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep certain records to meet legal obligations.

10. How we protect it

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing, and verification and sign-in tokens are stored in hashed form rather than in plain text.

11. Your rights

Subject to UK/EU data protection law, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and request portability, as well as to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, email support@quickplaysport.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority — in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (for EU/EEA users), or your local data protection authority.

12. Children

Where the Portal is used by children, we expect a parent or guardian to set up and oversee the account. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13 without parental consent.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the “last updated” date above and, where changes are significant, take reasonable steps to let you know.
